A Survey of large-scale computers and computer projects, 1953.

The 1953 O.N.R. survey presented data on the nearly 100 automatic digital computers which had developed after 1946. The information was compiled by questionnaire. It included data on storage capability, memory, access time, speed, floor area occupied, cooling, computing time, power consumption, input/output, and date first brought into service.

It was revised and updated in 1950 under the title, HIGH-SPEED COMPUTING DEVICES (New York: McGraw-Hill, 1950).
